Abstract

и по настоящее время), осмыслен вклад отдельных исследователей, выявлены ключевые проблемы и намечены дальнейшие перспективы в изучении внебогослужебного духовного пения староверов.<br />A base of numerous informational sources was formed during a sesquicentennial history of spiritual verses studying. In this paper a periodization of inquiring of Old believer's verse is proposed, a contribution of several researchers is estimated, key problems are found out as well as the future trends of studying the outliturgical spiritual verse of Old believers are set. The spiritual verse articles define four periods in its studying: 1) mid-to-late 19th century, 2) 1900-1930s, 3) 1940-1980s, 4) from 1990s until the present day. An interest to the Old believers' spiritual verse is formed in the middle of 19th century. Mid-to-late 19th century is a period of collecting the monuments of spiritual songwriting. Particular contribution to systemization of spiritual verse repertoire made V. Varenzov and S. Maksimov. A culminating stage in studying of Old believers' verses were 1900-1930s. It occurs in publications of collections of V. Bonch-Bruevich, T. Rozhdestvensky, A. Markov, I. Zavoloko, and P. Fadeev; in appearan of regional notes of I. Abramov, A. Veselitsky, I. Krasheninnikov, A. Mozharovsky, V. Moshkov, and N. Protasov; in research papers of Ya. Bogatenko and A. Seleshchiv; in publication of V. Druzhinin's catalogue. At this stage the role of Old believers in preservation and development of outliturgical spiritual singing traditions is comprehended. In contrast to the previous stage with diffusion of texts and comments to Old believers' verses in different collections, in this period appear specific titles. Because of archeographic work of V. Malyshev the Old believers' manuscripts with spiritual verses are collected and described since 1940s. Despite the spiritual verses were in the Soviet times on the ideological grounds unattractive subject of inquiry, a large source base was created. This base compiled fundamentals for upcoming studies of post-Soviet stage. The modern period of spiritual verse research begins in 1990s. From then on more than 200 works from different research schools with broad geography were published. 6 Candidate's dissertations (E. Vorontsova, O. Kuznetsova, I. Melnikov, N. Murashova, F. Panchenko, and E. Prokuratova) as well as 3 Doctoral theses (S. Buraeva, L. Soboleva and N. Fedorovskaya) affect different aspects of Old believers' spiritual verse presence. The process of studying the spiritual verses is under way. Expeditionary work proceeds. The source base constantly expands driven by introduction of the new hand-written and verbally existing samples presented different regional and subconfessional traditions of Old believers' repertoire. Methods and methodology of researching the outliturgical spiritual singing develop and allow to study the spiritual verse of Old believers multidimensionally: as an instrument of reflection of Old believers' world building and as an important part of Russian traditional culture as well.
