Technical-economic pre-feasibility study to improve the conditions of transitability: Guadalupe road – bridge of the Suárez River (Santander)

En este estudio de prefactibilidad, entre el municipio de Guadalupe y el puente del rio Suarez, en el departamento de Santander, se buscó dar solución a los problemas de transitabilidad en el corredor vial, donde se propusieron 3 alternativas: estructura de placa huella, pavimento flexible y pavimento rígido. Se realizó una recopilación de información primaria y secundaria para reconocer el área de estudio y diferentes aspectos necesarios para el desarrollo de la investigación; con base en esta información se realizaron análisis hidrológicos, estudios hidráulicos, de tránsito, estructurales, económicos, entre otros, con el fin de poder determinar la alternativa con mayor viabilidad para mejorar las condiciones de transitabilidad en esta vía, siendo esta la estructura de placa huella la que presenta las mejores condiciones tanto técnicas, económicas y sociales para toda la comunidad aledaña a la carretera. This prefeasibility study, between the municipality of Guadalupe and the Suarez river bridge, in the department of Santander, sought to solve the trafficability problems in the road corridor, where 3 alternatives were proposed: footprint plate structure, flexible pavement and rigid pavement. A compilation of primary and secondary information was made to recognize the study area and different aspects necessary for the development of the research; based on this information, hydrological analysis, hydraulic, traffic, structural, economic studies, among others, were made in order to determine the most viable alternative to improve the trafficability conditions in this road, being the roadbed structure the one that presents the best technical, economic and social conditions for the entire community adjacent to the road.
