Road safety: a human need

A lo largo de la historia el hombre ha buscado sentirse más seguro en cada uno de los desplazamientos que realiza, por ello ha diseñado e implementado diferentes mecanismos para garantizar su seguridad y así llegar a su punto de destino; En Colombia se ha presentado una tasa elevada de accidentalidad Vial y es por ello la necesidad de buscar estrategias que permitan reducir estas cifras sin alterar el orden natural por el cual fueron diseñadas las vías, como lo es la reducción de tiempos en los desplazamientos, sin dejar de lado una necesidad latente como lo es el hecho de brindar tranquilidad a cada uno de los usuarios que por ella transiten, teniendo en cuenta cosas importantes como lo son los materiales con las cuales son hechas, el terreno, la señalización, entre otras.
