Influence of structure of buthylmethacrylate and methacrylic acid copolymer on its thermal behaviour

Изучено термическое поведение сополимеров БМА и МАК сходного состава и различной структуры – статистического и блочного строения. С помощью методов ТГ и ДСК показано, что блок-сополимер менее устойчив к действию высоких температур, чем статистический. Рассчитаны активационные параметры для стадий термического разложения ПБМА и ПМАК и их сополимеров. Показан гомолитический механизм термической деструкции для ПБМА и смешанный – для ПМАК и сополимеров. Для сополимера блочного строения показано инициирование деструкции в местах соединения блоков по сшивающему агенту. Thermal behaviour of BMA and MAA copolymers with the similar composition of different structure – random and block – have been studied. By TG and DSC experiments it has been shown that the thermal stability of the block copolymer is less than that of the random one. The activation parameters for every stage of thermal destruction of PBMA, PMAA and their copolymers have been calculated. It has been shown that the thermal degradation of PBMA is the result of homolysis, while for PMAA and copolymers we suppose the mixed mechanism of that process. It has been shown that destruction of the block copolymer begins on the sites of the block combination with the crosslinking agent.
