Abstract

Strategic Account management is growing in importance throughout the world, yet little is known about how firms select and manage national and global accounts. This paper reports the results of a comprehensive research study to gather information about strategic account business practices. The project was co-sponsored by the Center of Business and Industrial Marketing at Georgia State University, Target Marketing Systems, and the National Account Management Association.
