Abstract

Thesis deals with the leisure activities of children in institutions for children with ordered institutional care, the objective is to find a comparison leisure clients between two selected devices. The theoretical part describes the term institutional and protective education, including historical and current legal regulations, the procedure for their implementation. The school facilities indicates differences in educational work among selected children's home and children's home with the school. The article introduces the characteristics of free time and leisure activities with the documents relating to free time. The research part more familiar with the characteristics of the device and respondents. Interprets the results obtained through quantitative research, which was used as the main research technique structured interview with three kinds of questions (closed, semi-closed and open). The aim is to analyze the leisure clients aged 11-18 years in selected Seagull Children's home Children's home and the school Sedlec-Prčice and seeing how much different use, offer, scope, content, and structure of leisure activities in these facilities.
