Petra Reckziegelová Title: Casuistic study of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after transtibial amputation Objectives: The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the knowledge about amputation, possibilities of rehabilitation in patients with amputation and to elaborate a case report of a patient with amputation. Methods: The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis deals with the issue of transtibial amputation. It contains basic information necessary for understanding the topic, knowledge from the field of prosthetics and rehabilitation. The special part consists of a case report of a patient diagnosed with unilateral transtibial amputation. The case report was prepared within the framework of continuous professional practice at the Rehabilitation Clinic Malvazinky. Results: As a result of physiotherapy care, the patient's condition improved. Conclusion: The set goals of the work were achieved.
