Abstract: The aim of this thesis is to compare the tax burden on income of individuals from employment and self-employment in the Czech Republic in 2015, based on appropriate indicators. Calculations and subsequent comparison is performed on sample subjects of whose determination was based on data from the Czech Statistical Office and OECD. The results are summarized in the conclusion to the summary tables and illustrative graphs.
