Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of difficult to employ groups in the labor market and their employment in social enterprises. In the theoretical part there is a chapter about civil society, its function, role and connection with social entrepreneurship. The next chapter is devoted to the definition of social economy. Within this chapter the importance of social capital for society is described. The following chapter is devoted to the description of social entrepreneurship of general and integration type, the principles of social entrepreneurship and researches are mentioned. The next chapter discusses difficult to employ groups in the labor market and the importance of social rehabilitation in relation to job search. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the employment of people with disabilities, specifically people with intellectual disabilities, where the possibilities of employment are mentioned. The aim of the thesis is to describe the vulnerable groups in the labor market, to analyze the offered activities of social entrepreneurship in Hradec Králové and to define the characteristics of social entrepreneurship and their application in practice.
