Commented translation: Petite Histoire des Rois et Ducs de Bretagne (Etienne Gasche, Yoran Embranner, Fouesnant 2006, str. 9-49)

This bachelor thesis in the field of translation studies consists of two main parts. The first part contains a Czech translation of a selected chapters from a French book concerning the history of Brittany, called La Petite Histoire des Rois et Ducs de Bretagne. The second part is dedicated to an analysis of the source text and to a commentary on the translation. The typology of translation problems, the translation methods used and concrete solutions are presented in the commentary.
