Přírodní biotopy v krajinářské architektuře

The thesis deals with the issue of natural habitats in wider context. Literature search gives a brief overview of the basic concepts and it shows the possibilities of landscape architecture in the creation and protection of landscape. Slatina river valley, in which the number of habitats of European and national importance are located, was chosen as a model area for this thesis. A primary, secondary and tertiary structure of the country has been evaluated as a basis for further evaluation and proposal. In the model area there were mapped the habitats and their ecological and socio-economic assessment was performed by the field investigation. Based on the identified knowledge, the management area was designed for preserve natural habitats. Knowledge are summarized in conclusion and own opinion on the issue is formulated.
