Abstract
- The presented rigorous work especially stems from the theory of knowledge society, knowledge company, and human capital. These phenomena are documented on the automotive industry world-wide, belonging to the major representatives of the globalization trends which invoke the large changes. This rigorous work documents the significancy of the company's strategy, and also documents its components and influence on enterprising, using the Japanese multinational Asahi Glass Company as an example and accentuating the human capital. This work attends closely to the problems of human resources management within the company, that acually become an integral portion of the global processes and are influenced by most of changes coming due to changes invoked by globalization. Especially some supporting elements - remuneration of employees, evaluation of employees, qualification growth, but also the employees' satisfaction and social programs - are accentuated.
