Abstract
- With the disjoining pressure in the form of an inverse cubic law, steady configurations of an evaporating liquid film are studied such that at one end it approaches a microfilm starting abruptly as a square root of the coordinate while getting to a constant slope at the other. The parameters are associated with the spreading coefficient in the manner of de Gennes. There exists a positive critical value of the spreading coefficient. For the values above the critical one, the microfilm turns into a semi-infinite one of constant thickness. For the values balow the critical one, a kink formed by such a microfilm recedes along the solid surface.<br />info:eu-repo/semantics/published
