Research and pre-operational application of near real time services for maritime situational awareness

The presentation focus on the framework and product development as an example for near real time applications for the maritime domain. Applications to derive maritime value added products like ship detection based on remote sensing SAR image data from TerraSAR-X are presently developed and integrated at the ground station Neustrelitz, part of the German Remote Sensing Data Center.
