Estudio histórico y constructivo del Patrimonio Industrial de la ciudad de Casablanca

[ES] El protectorado francés en Marruecos marcó un punto de inflexión en la arquitectura de la ciudad de Casablanca y le ha atribuido la función de primer hogar industrial del país, dejando así una herencia de valor patrimonial indiscutible. Laboratorio experimental de la arquitectura del siglo XX, como lo indica la Unesco, esta ciudad alberga numerosos edificios notables de diversos estilos, que reúnen a la vez técnicas constructivas francesas y artesanía local marroquí. El objetivo de este Trabajo Fin de Grado es el descubrimiento de los edificios más representativos del patrimonio industrial de Casablanca que, a través de la elaboración de un inventario, servirá de base para el estudio de los diferentes estilos, materiales y técnicas constructivas de la arquitectura industrial colonial.
[EN] The French protectorate in Morocco has had a profound influence on the architecture of the city of Casablanca. This legacy has elevated the city to the rank of first industrial center of the country, leaving behind it a rich architectural heritage. Blueprint of 20th century architecture as indicated by UNESCO, this city is home to many remarkable buildings of various styles, which combine both French construction techniques and local Moroccan craftsmanship. The objective of this Final Degree Work is the discovery of the most representative buildings of the industrial heritage of Casablanca which, through the elaboration of an inventory, will serve as a basis for the study of the different styles, materials, and construction techniques of colonial industrial architecture.
