ABDOMEN AGUDO OCLUSIVO POR BEZOAR IMPACTADO EN DIVERTÍCULO DE MECKEL

RESUMEN El divertículo de Meckel se describe desde principios de 1800. Se origina por cierre incompleto del conducto onfalomesenterico durante la etapa fetal. Por lo general se ubica a 100 cm de la válvula ileocecal. Los bezoares son cuerpos extraños originados de material no digerible que se acumulan en el tubo digestivo. La variedad más común es el fitobezoar originado de vegetales. Presentamos el caso de una paciente de 68 años que acudió a urgencias por síntomas compatibles de un abdomen agudo oclusivo, siendo laparotomizada hallándose un fitobezoar impactado en la base de un divertículo de Meckel a 80 cm de la válvula ileocecal. Se realizó resección y anastomosis intestinal con buena evolución post operatoria sin complicaciones. SUMMARY Meckel's diverticulum is described since the early 1800s. It originates from incomplete closure of the omphalomesenteric duct during the fetal stage. It is usually located 100 cm from the ileocecal valve. Bezoars are foreign bodies that originate from non-digestible material that accumulate in the digestive tract. The most common variety is phytobezoar originated from vegetables. We present the case of a 68-year-old patient who came to the emergency room due to compatible symptoms of an acute occlusive abdomen. She was laparotomized and found an impacted phytobezoar at the base of a Meckel diverticulum 80 cm from the ileocecal valve. Intestinal resection and anastomosis were performed with good postoperative evolution without complications.
