Although there has been a great deal of investigation into potential alternatives, to date none of the biobased alternatives have performed satisfactorily on an industrial scale.<br />This project has received funding from the Bio Based Industries Joint Undertaking under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No 792063.
