Abstract

The Lerch zeta-function $L(lambda,alpha,s)$ with transcendental parameter $alpha$, or with rational parameters $alpha$ and $lambda$ is universal, i.e., a wide class of analytic functions is approximated by shifts $L(lambda,alpha,s+itau)$, $tau in mathbb{R}$.
