The River Port of Zagreb

U radu je izložen razvoj ideje o izgradnji riječne luke u Zagrebu, a detaljnije se analizira posljednja predložena lokacija u Rugvici. Objašnjeni su razlozi odabira te lokacija i njezine prirodne osobine. Konačno, razmatra se gospodarstveno značenje predviđene luke kao prometnog čvorišta i ocjenjuje realnost planiranog prometa u luci.
The main subject in this article is the evolution of the idea of establishing of a river port in Zagreb. A detailed analysis of the last proposed location in Rugvica is given. Reasons of choice for this location and its physical characteristics are presented. Finally, the economic significance of the river port as a new transport node as well as the reality of the planed merchandise transfer are cosidered.
