Development of ecological ideas in Frank Lloyd Wright’s organic architecture

Исследуется генезис концепции Фрэнка Ллойда Райта, американского архитек­тора конца XIX - первой половины XX в., родоначальника органического на­правления в архитектуре и дизайне. Отталкиваясь от определений экологичес­кой архитектуры, экологически устойчивого дизайна, автор анализирует прин­ципы органической архитектуры Ф. Л. Райта и подробно раскрывает воплоще­ние данной концепции на примере загородной виллы «Дом над водопадом». The article explores genesis of the architectural conception by Frank Lloyd Wright who was the founder of the organic style in architecture and design. Relying on the definitions of ecological architecture and sustainable design the author analyzes Wright’s principles of organic architecture and closely considers realization of this conception in the “Falling water” residence.
