To congratulate Professor Mats Larsson on the occasion of his 60th birthday, the Departmentof Economic History, Uppsala University, arranged a seminar in his honour in the fall of2013. Speakers representing business administration and economic history from a number ofSwedish universities spoke on a range of subjects touching upon Mats Larsson’s own researchinterests such as business history, banking history, economic history and biography. Thepresent volume includes the lectures and the following discussions.
