Abstract

Agricultural articles in this issue pertain to the dairymen conventions held in Toronto, the export of Canadian eggs to Britain, using iodized salt for animal nutrition, and mushrooms as a food source. Other articles address how Professor Harcourt received the French Cross of the Knighthood of Agricultural Merit, the O. A. C. floriculture test gardens, and the National Dairy Council of Canada. The new Biology column reports on the meeting of the Entomological Society of Ontario, and characteristics of spruce trees. The O. V. C. column provides information regarding their alumni. Campus news reports on various seasonal social events such as the Halloween Dance, a guest lecture by Arthur Lismer, and the Philharmonic Society presentation of the play "Loyalties".
