Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of the sponsors liquid fertilizer in comparison to the industry standard when applied to Kentucky bluegrass on a home lawn turf in a soil rootzone. Data was collected on the colour, strength, uniformity, density, quality, and resistance to stress and disease. Six trials were conducted with the sponsor's fertilizer and compared to one industry standard and one control. The results of the study conclude that the experimental fertilizer showed no improved effects on the Kentucky bluegrass over the industry-standard fertilizer. None of the chlorophyll index measurements of the treated plots were significantly higher than the control. It was determined that the background fertilizer in this turf was slightly too high, interfering with the fertilizer treatments in the trial. BioTLC
