Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of an organic amendment product provided by the sponsor when applied to creeping bentgrass on a putting green turf. Data was collected on turf performance, growth rate and total growth of the shoot system, and pressure from diseases. Six trials were conducted four of which tested the sponsor's product, one industry standard, and one control plot. The results of the study showed that the sponsor’s product had no significant effects on turf growth or performance, compared to the control treatment. NPK fertilizer application can account for the significant differences seen in the treatments. Sipco
