Abstract

International audience; Following the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station (the Fukushima nuclear accident), environmental contamination by radioactive materials has become an issue in Fukushima, and large-scale decontamination has been carried out under the slogan "No recovery of Fukushima without decontamination". Most of the areas preparing for the lifting of evacuation orders and restricted areas have been lifted, and consideration is now being given to lifting the remaining difficult-to-return areas. Now, nine years after the accident, the relationship between decontamination and reconstruction in Fukushima is about to be reconsidered.;
