Abstract
- We tried to generate quasi-isotropic homogeneous turbulence fields with high Reynolds numbers in the multi-fan wind tunnel. The fans making flow and counter flow were arranged like a checkered pattern and they were driven by a fluctuating signal transformed from continuous spectra with - 5/3 slope, The Reynolds number of the resultant turbulence fields ranged from 330 to 560. The turbulence fields realized in the multi-fan wind tunnel are expected to be very useful to study high Reynolds number turbulence, though their uniformity and isotropy were not so good.<br />資料番号: AA0049208023<br />レポート番号: JAXA-SP-05-012
