Configurationality of attachment to hometown and employment structure

本稿では，地元就業者（n＝2621）の個票データを用いて，地元愛着の発生構造とそれが地元就業行動に及ぼす影響について実証分析を行った．主成分分析の結果，地元愛着は「地元依存性」と「地元定着性」と「地元同一性」の3因子構造であることが明らかになった．加えて，プロビット推定を行った結果，地元愛着や地元就職時点での進路先の検討（マッチング強化）の有無が入職後の地域貢献や働きがいに及ぼす影響が統計的に有意であると認められた．
In this paper, I conduct a regression analysis using the data of 2,621 locally oriented workers employed in their hometown in order to clarify the effects of locally-oriented workers' employment behavior. From the analysis of principal components of workers’ inclination toward obtaining a job in their hometown, I find that their attachment to their hometown consists of dependence on, settlement in, and identity with their hometown. In addition, the results of the analysis indicate that act of seeking employment in workers’ own hometowns is closely tied to their job satisfaction.
