板書における平仮名字形の考察 ─「か」を中心として─

Abstract

In school education, writing on a blackboard has a considerable impact on children. It is desirable for teachers to establish styles and shapes of writing that are easy to read and transcribe. This paper focuses on the hiragana character for “か” to discuss how it should be written and shaped. An analysis was made regarding the shape of the character written by university students seeking to become schoolteachers as well as that written by children in order to examine their differences. There was a major difference between how university students wrote“ か” and how children wrote it with respect to the second stroke. This paper, for the benefit of schoolteachers and children, discusses how“ か” should be written on a blackboard in consideration of the ease of writing, how children move their hands, and the shape of the character as it appears in penmanship textbooks for Japanese classes.
