Abstract: A fifty-three-year-old man developed thrombophlebitis in the left subclavian and jugular vein after 16-days total parenteral nutrition (TPN) with a catheter indwelling in the central vein via the left subclavian vein for nutritional management during perioperative period of distal gastrectomy.
