[報文]サトウキビ育種における実生養成培地へのフィルターケーキの利用

Abstract

フィルターケーキの風化物を単体としてサトウキビ実生培地に用いることにより,実生養成試験の効率化ができることを確認した.播種培地としてのフィルターケーキはバーミキュライト培地と同じ効果があった.仮植培地としては,従来用いてきた混合土培地より実生宙の生育が良くなった.フィルターケーキの物理性については,気層率が34%,易効性有効水が31%,有効水が45%,孔隙率が86%,容積重が32g/100ml,仮比重が0.32,飽和透水係数が7.6×10^~ 1.4×10^cm/secであった.これらのことから,フィルターケーキを用いることにより,培地の水管理や雑草防除が容易になり,軽量のため移植作業の効率化ができた.<br />The seedling rearing of the sugarcane was improved by a use of the mono-component of well-weathered filter cake as nursery bed medium. Number of developed seedling, fresh weight of seedling per 1 gm. fuzz and mean freshweight of seedling at 40 days after sowing in the filter cake medium were not different from those in the traditionally used medium composed of 2 volume vermiculite and 1 volume compost. Stalk length, leaf length, number of fresh leaves and number of tillerings observed in the filter cake were increased as compared with those in the traditionally used medium of mixed soils when the media were used for the transplanting of the seedlings The physical characteristics of the filter cake were as follows : polosity, 86%; volume weight, 32g/100ml; bulk density, 0.32; saturated permeability, 7.6 × 10^ -1.4 × 10^cm/ sec ; air rate, 34%; readily available moisture, 31% ; available moisture, 45%. Control of both moisture and weeds in a medium became convenient and transplanting became easy when filter cake was used as the mono-component of nursery bed-medium.<br />論文
