The authors are trying to train and develop students to be teachers who can think forthemselves, devise teaching materials for class, and teach how to live. As an approach, theauthors introduced expert assistants into college classes, who. helped develop teaching materialsand utilize the materials in the classes.In this study, detailed records were kept concerning development processes of teachingmaterials through collaboration of students and assistants and cases of utilization of thedeveloped teaching materials in the classes. An analysis of the result clearly showed manyachievements. For example, teaching materials that met objectives were developed in a short time.
