Abstract
- This paper discribes an algorithm of timing analysis for nonlinear networks represented by piecewise-linear function. By using the proposed algorithm, it is not necessary to define time step size. Non-linear networks represented by piecewise-linear can be analyzed by linear-analysis method as linear networks, if region of any nonlinear element is not changed. If it is changed at t_b, we can not analyze the nonlinear circuit after t_b by linear-analysis method. In this case, we get V(t_b) which is the node voltage at t_b. And we can analyze the circuit after t_b using the new linear equation and the initial value V(t_b).
