Abstract: This article discusses the automobility from the points of view as follows; (1) urban transportation problems, (2) history of car, (3) car culture, (4) energy efficiency, (5) traffic management and (6) automobility in local cities. It is concluded that each city should take an original and own transportation policy against automobility.
