Abstract

The generation of ~0.9 GGauss B-field was observed in the near-solid density plasma created by high-contrast ultra-relativistic J-KAREN-P laser pulses with specially designed sub-micron Si-rods targets. The B-field was measured by means of x-ray spectroscopic method based on the theory of Langmuir dips.<br />International Conference on High Energy Density Science 2022
