Abstract
- Highlights • Children with CLDs have a similar susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 infection, regardless of the underlying etiology of liver disease. • Children with chronic liver disease (CLD) and suspected or confirmed COVID-19 present with mild symptoms, or may be even asymptomatic, similarly to the general pediatric population. • Chronic liver disease likely does not represent an additional risk factor for severe disease course of COVID-19.
