La voie rapide urbaine de Chambéry

Chambery, as a century-old crossroad is more and more busily frequented because of the urbanization of the Northern Alps, of the interpenetration of national economies and of the increase in the flow of tourists. The constraints of the site have led to the creation in the same areas and thanks to an important tunnel and at the same time an urban throughway convenient for the Chambery people and a highway that doesn't block the traffic through the AREA road network. The decrease in traffic through the centre of the city has helped to set up rational organization of the traffic flow to the advantage of pedestrians and public buses. This was not acheved without political tensions.
