The contribution of immunologic methods to the classification of leukemias and malignant lymphomas

Improvements in immunologic techniques have resulted in increased accuracy and precision in the diagnosis of leukemia and lymphoma. Provisional recommendations for routine application of these techniques in leukemia and lymphoma are presented, although this area continues to undergo clarification as new data become available.
