Abstract
- PURPOSE: Cardiac fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake is known to be variable in fasting oncologic positron emission tomography computed tomography studies. Increased posterolateral and basal FDG activity have been reported with the basal pattern ascribed to radiation injury.
