- Iliacantha sparsa Stimpson, 1871 Material examined. Petro-UFS���16 (9 M, 2 F, 3 OF); size range: 16.00 ��� CW ��� 24.47 mm; average: CW = 20.01 �� 2.60 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00054. Stations. Petro-UFS���6, 8, and 9. Distribution. Western Atlantic���Florida, Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, Colombia, and Brazil (from Par�� to Esp��rito Santo) (Melo 1996). Ecological notes. Lives between 20 and 80 m. Found on gravel, shells, corals, and calcareous algae bottoms (Melo 1996). Previous records in Sergipe. Barreto et al. (1993).<br />Published as part of Mendon��a, Luana M.
