Abstract
- Pulmonary vein (PV) isolation for the treatment of atrial fibrillation is limited by procedure related complications, such as PV stenosis and occlusions. We report about a PV isolation using a circumferential cryoablation catheter which applies the ablation energy simultaneously at the entire circumference by cooling down to a minimal temperature of −80°C.
