Abstract: A one‐pot procedure for the efficient sulfonylation of amines with 4‐hydroxybenzenesulfonyl chloride involving in situ protection and deprotection of the phenol with N,O‐bis(trimethylsilyl)acetamide (BTSA) is presented.
