Abstract: We read with interest the paper by Nicholls et al. ([1][1]) investigating the relationship between intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)–derived measures of atherosclerosis (baseline and change in percent atheroma volume) and cardiovascular outcomes (death, myocardial infarction, and coronary
