Abstract
- In this paper, a new near-field source localisation method based on signal reconstruction and clustering approach is proposed. The new method makes full use of the advantages of signal reconstruction, reconstructs the parameters related to the direction of arrival (DOA) and range of sources in cumulant domain separately, and pairs them with clustering technique. This would lead to higher resolution and better accuracy than traditional methods. By estimating the parameters separately, the authors avoid constructing a huge overcomplete basis, and reduce the computational burden. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
