Abstract
- We consider a free particle,V(r)=0, with position-dependent mass m(r)=1/(1+zeta^2*r^2)^2 in the d-dimensional schrodinger equation. The effective potential turns out to be a generalized Poschl-Teller potential that admits exact solution.<br />6 pages, no figures, to appear in Phys. Lett. A
