Abstract

In a comparatively thorough investigation with a series of compounds of α, β and ϒ-picoline complexesof the fluoborates of Co, Ni, Zn and Cd, an attempt has been made to see which one amongst thethermodynamic parameters namely ∆H, ∆S, ∆F, Lattice energy and heats of formation, is morereliable, useful and recommendable for a study of the stability of comparable complexes. This publication deals with the limitations of the values of lattice energy and heats of formation.
