On the fixed point theorem of Krasnoselskii and Sobolev

Abstract: We formulate a version of the fixed point theorem of Krasnoselskii and Sobolev in locally convex spaces. We apply this result to establish the existence of solutions of an integral equation defined in an abstract space.
