Abstract
- The first example of an inorganic-organic composite framework with a 3D inorganic Cd-O-M (M = Cd, Rb) connectivity, featuring a unique {Cd(7)Rb}(n) helix and nanoscale {Cd(16)Rb(4)} and {Cd(18)Rb(2)} rings, has been constructed and structurally characterized. This compound exhibits white-light emission and a wavelength-dependent photochromic response.
