Using micrograting for real-time detecting surfactants at aqueous/liquid crystal interfaces

A label-free detection of surfactants at interfaces between aqueous phases and liquid crystals (LC) is proposed. The micro-grating structure was applied to monitor the influence of different concentration of surfactants solution on the orientational response of the LC molecules.
