- International audience; Hemp-based materials have been recently proposed as adsorbents formetals present in aqueous solutions using adsorption-orientedprocesses. This study aims to reveal the adsorption mechanism ofmaterials prepared from hemp shives as co-products of the hempindustry, namely sodium carbonate-activated (SHI-C) andpolycarboxylic agent-grafted (SHI-BTCA) hemp shives.
