Abstract
- Hysteresis modeling describes transition curves corresponding with any change of the magnetic field. Memory properties in the magnetization processes are observed in macroscopic hysteresis curves and described by the return-point-memory and the wiping-out-property according to Madelung. This paper shows that the 3D micromagnetic hysteresis model incorporates these macroscopic memory properties. The model is developed by the authors to describe hysteresis processes starting from the materials microstructure. Simulations on samples with different dislocation densities show that the magnetic states are also similar on a microscopic scale when minor loops are closed.
